Services for Children, Youths and Their Families

A range of services for promoting the well-being of residents, with an emphasis on marginalized groups, rescuing from poverty, protection of minors, the helpless and groups in crisis, based on values of human dignity and freedom, social justice and mutual responsibility, with an emphasis on a sensitive, equal opportunity approach.

Child care services through referrals from neighborhood welfare offices for children on the risk continuum from birth to age 13.

Services for families and at-risk groups through referrals from neighborhood welfare offices in an array of services for treating and preventing situations of risk and danger among children, women, men and families.

 

Economic Advancement and Social Integration

Caring for families living in poverty and exclusion, through an array of services, and developing a continuum of responses in the community.

The service is provided through neighborhood welfare offices neighborhoods or through Afikei Htzlachah programs.



At Risk Youth and Young People

Treatment of youth and young people aged 13 to 26 and their parents coping with personal, social, academic and employment hardships and dilemmas.

Couples and Family Therapy – Transition Department

The Couple and Family Therapy Station operates at the Haruv Children’s Campus on Mount Scopus, and is intended for all the city’s residents.

The team is made up of therapists certified by the Israel Association for Couple and Family Therapy and interns.

In addition, the team includes certified instructors who accompany the therapeutic work and are responsible for developing professional training and enriching the therapists.

We work according to a culturally sensitive integrative approach, which combines different therapeutic methods, while adapting them to patients and families from all sectors and of all types.

Payment is calculated based on an examination of income or at a fixed subsidized rate not requiring an examination of income.
