The social club that could be right for you!
The English-speaking social club provides opportunities for social interaction, learning and recreation to English Speakers of ages 18-100 who are coping with mental illness.
What the program includes:
- Social and fun activities: arts and crafts, group games, and trips around Jerusalem.
- Going deeper: psycho-educational workshops, activities that create a a safe space for talking freely about day-to-day life, joys, and sorrows.
- Dealing with the shared challenge as Olim: activities on the topic of immigration and successful integration , including on the challenges and frustrations as "olim", as "mitmodedim" and as humans.
Who, when, where?
Run by the Jerusalem branch of Enosh, The Israeli Mental Health Association, for individuals with a rehabilitation package through the Ministry of Health.*
Twice a week, Monday & Wednesday between 2:30- 5:30 pm.
Based out of the Talpiot Enosh offices.
*Who is eligible for a rehabilitation package? Any person who faces a mental difficulty for which the National Insurance Institute of Israel has determined a disability rate of at least 40%. With a status of at least 40% disability from the National Insurance Institute of Israel, a person can contact a social worker regarding various services: health services, welfare, mental health clinics, a private caretaker who knows the patient - who will submit the forms for him.
