Streetball Tournament

This 3-day event, held during the summer (July-August) at Safra Square, is the largest street basketball event in the country.
During the 3 days of the tournament, our City Hall square turns into a basketball compound divided into 16 small courts and one large, state-of-the-art center court. Over 1000 basketball players, aged 10 and up, take part in hundreds of games held simultaneously.
The event is held in collaboration with the Israel Basketball Association and FIBA International Basketball Federation, which organizes 3x3 Streetball tournaments around the world. Jerusalem is among the cities awarded the honor of hosting these events.
The teams registering for the event compete in categories by their gender and age. Games are held for 3 consecutive days between 16:00 and 22:00.
First and second place win prestigious prizes, and first place winners in each category can represent 3x3 Streetball Jerusalem in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour.
Between the tournament games, spectators are invited to take part in basketball competitions, watch exhibition games of wheelchair basketball and an exhibition game by Israeli All-Star teams followed by an inspirational ceremony, and watch a 3-point shootout and breathtaking dunking competition. Lively background music contributes to the carnival atmosphere.
