Training and Employment

Training and Employment, Culture and Leisure for Adults assists in social and community integration, and is intended to build knowledge, to develop social skills, create interest and curiosity, and enrich the person’s world.

Employment Frameworks

“Protected Employment” is an employment framework designed for people who cannot integrate or cope with the demands of the free labor market. The work is accompanied by counselors, social workers and a staff of therapists, in order to assist the employees in all that is required, and to provide them with work habits and skills under the optimal conditions for them.

The Rehabilitation Department in the Welfare Department of the Jerusalem Municipality works to advance the employment future of the person with disabilities, such as referral for diagnosis, workshops, rehabilitation, a protected workspace, placement, accompaniment and support.
