Infrastructure Coordination
An entrepreneur who intends to dig on a road/sidewalk/public space is required to open a file in the department in order to obtain the data of the infrastructure systems in the area where he intends to dig.
The department distributes the said plans to all infrastructure parties and when opinions are received from all these parties, the case is closed and the information is provided to the developer.
After fulfilling the requirements of all the infrastructure factors, a permit is issued to restrict the use of the road (excavation permit), which is conditional, in addition to the department's signature, on the signature of the Shefa Division and the Traffic Division of the Israel Police.
