Jerusalem Outline Plan - No. 2000
As part of the regulation of planning and construction in Israel, local master plans are promoted. These plans are made at the local level and include reference to the demarcation of areas, building regulations, building rights, building restrictions, garbage disposal sites, cemeteries, roads in the locality and other characteristics of urban planning.
The local outline plan is derived from the district outline plan and the national outline plan and cannot contradict the plans at the level above it. The new master plan for Jerusalem, called Plan No. 2000, is not yet deposited but constitutes the planning policy in the city. This plan does not have the power to issue building permits or permits.
