Buses

It is easy to get around by bus in Jerusalem.

A single bus ride may be purchased from the bus driver for 10.90 shekel.

Preferable - You may purchase a "Rav Kav card" which is a multiple use card which you may fill and refill as needed. The Rav Kav is used on the railway and the Egged buses in the city.

Light Rail

Light Rail Train and Egged buses inside the city:

A paper ticket for a single trip on the Light Rail can be purchased at any automatic machine located at every Light Rail stop.

A single bus ride may be purchased from the bus driver for 10.90 shekel.

Preferable - You may purchase a "Citypass Rav Kav card" which is a multiple use card which you may fill and refill as needed. The Rav Kav is used on the railway and the Egged buses in the city. You may purchase these at any light rail stop or at the central bus station or at the Paamon Center in the center of Jerusalem.
