Sale of Composters to Residents
Jerusalemites are entitled to a composter at a 70% subsidy that reaches up to the doorstep
The Sanitation Division has started selling composters to residents of the city at a subsidized price. The composter is a plastic bin made of hard plastic and designed for the self-recycling of household organic waste.
Contact the 106 Municipal Hotline or by email at malalon@jerusalem.muni.il and ask to purchase one of three composters. A payment voucher will be sent by mail by a Sanitation Division representative, and the resident will receive the voucher and make payment.
Payment options:
- At the Postal Bank
- Over the phone
- Online (details can be found on the back of the payment voucher)
After payment, the composter can be collected from the Sanitation Division’s storage facility in Givat Shaul. A map will be attached to the payment voucher.
