Drop Out Prevention

Information on Regular Visits and preventing dropouts on the Ministry of Education website (in Hebrew)

Regular Visits services are provided to students in the state, religious and ultra-Orthodox learning institutions, for new immigrants, and the Arab sector from kindergarten to 12th Grade.

The Regular Visits officers are responsible for enforcing the Compulsory Education Law.

  • Support dedicated to new immigrants, for children and youth at risk, for special education, with maximum compatibility.
  • Preventing dropping out of students by caring for and tracking them within the schools, in cooperation with the educational teams and the various care providers.
  • Maintaining continuity of studies and perseverance, assisting in the placement of students in the city's educational institutions.
  • Counseling and bridging gaps between the school and the student.
