Tzaharonim- Afternoon Activities
The Jerusalem Municipality, in cooperation with community administrations, the Rene Cassin Association and ultra-Orthodox educational networks, is promoting the Nitzanim program in Jerusalem. The program operates in over 1,000 facilities throughout the city. The facilities operate in the afternoons at the end of the school day and are intended for children aged 3-8 in kindergartens, first and second grades.
The Jerusalem Municipality operates the program through franchisees who provide educational enrichment and social and educational activities, help with homework, provide pedagogical activities and include a hot, nourishing meal.
