Municipality offers "Journey to Parenthood" workshop
The unique program will help parents-to-be prepare for the moving and challenging experience
The Municipality's Early Childhood Department is with parents-to-be as they take their first steps on the way to parenthood, and is pleased to present to them the "Journey to Parenthood" program.
The workshop is intended for pregnant women in their 25th week or later, and their spouses. In the workshop, they will meet other couples who are having experiences similar to theirs.
The group will be led by a professional moderator, and since the program is backed by research, participants will be asked to fill out a questionnaire during the workshop of the Sid Institute of the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yafo.
In the workshop, which will include talks by other professionals, participants will receive tools to deal with the family and the environment for the transition from a couple to a family, and together understand what a baby needs when he or she comes into the world.
Cost: NIS 100 per couple for six sessions.
