The provision will not be implemented in May 2020.
Permanent instructions will be implemented from June 2020.

Arnona is a tax levied by law on holders of buildings and land. The charge is made annually, and relates to the period from January 1 to December 31 of that year.
As of now you must schedule an appointment in advance.
According to the stipulations of the law, the obligation to pay the municipal tax applies on January 1 every year (unless the city council determines otherwise).
Payment after 30 days from the said date will incur interest and linkage differentials according to the Law of Local Authorities (interest and linkage differentials for compulsory payments), 1980.

It is important to note that in any referral you should indicate your municipal tax account number as it appears on your debit notice.
The last date to pay the yearly bill is on the 30th of January.

On Monday, March 2, 2020, Election Day for Knesset, there will be no public reception in the Arnona Department
On Tuesday, March 10, 2020, the Purim holiday, a reception will be held in the Arnona Department from 13:00-16:00 only
On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, Shushan Purim, there will be no reception hours at the Arnona Department
