Extending the Deadline for Applying for a Public Service Volunteer Institution

Following the coronavirus crisis, a deadline for applying for a public service volunteer institution for 2020 has been extended til 01/06/2020.

Arnona is a tax levied by law on holders of buildings and land. The charge is made annually, and relates to the period from January 1 to December 31 of that year.

As of now you must schedule an appointment in advance.

According to the stipulations of the law, the obligation to pay the municipal tax applies on January 1 every year (unless the city council determines otherwise).

Payment after 30 days from the said date will incur interest and linkage differentials according to the Law of Local Authorities (interest and linkage differentials for compulsory payments), 1980.

The Municipality's Assessment and Collection Division is available for all your queries.

It is important to note that in any referral you should indicate your municipal tax account number as it appears on your debit notice.

The last date to pay the yearly bill is on the 30th of January.
