Hila Mukdasi - Alumni Programs Director
Every year, Jerusalem hosts more than 5,000 participants in various programs for Diaspora Jews from around the world who come to experience the city for an extended period as part of a variety of Masa programs: career development, academia, volunteering, high school graduates, Jewish and leadership studies.
Within this framework, I am in constant contact with the Masa organization and the organizers of the programs in the field in order to build joint activities, mutual nurturing and provide a response to arising needs.
Most often, the graduates of these programs are looking for their next adventure, and are even considering making aliyah.
We know this is a big, life-changing decision, and that’s why I’m here!
- To connect you to professionals at the municipal level, including coordinators who speak five languages (English, French, Russian, Spanish and Portuguese) and can accompany you through the immigration process and changing your status, provide you with information on exercising your rights and municipal services, and help you in dealing with the various bodies operating in the city.
- To familiarize you with Jerusalem from a number of angles and show you its beauty through tours around the city from a variety of perspectives: employment, academia, culture and art, places of entertainment and leisure, social initiatives, communities and more.
- To offer you opportunities for value-based and interesting volunteering in diverse and leading organizations in the city.
- To expose you to attractive post-program programs, in which you will acquire practical tools for optimally preparing for immigration and quality absorption in the city.
Program managers, participants and graduates are all welcome to contact us, and we will start our journey together!
