The Immigrant Absorption Department operates 16 neighborhood absorption centers in Community Administrations to provide individual and community absorption services.

In the Absorption Center, a personal connection is formed with the immigrant and a familiarity with the needs and those of their family members, for receiving information, guidance, and accompaniment in the initial stages of absorption, assistance in exercising their rights, mediating for services and various institutions, removing barriers and presenting personal absorption services to the immigrant and his family.

Role of the Neighborhood Absorption Center Manager: Concentrating the area of ​​absorption, through familiarity with the immigrants’ needs, with the aim of helping provide an individual and community response, and acting as a professional authority and a central and inclusive factor for mediation between the immigrant and organizations and service providers in the community.
