Jerusalem March Traffic Arrangements
Jerusalem March traffic and parking arrangements – Thursday, 17.10.19, Sukkot
During the festive march in the city center vehicular traffic on the following streets will be closed 13:30 to 18:00:
Ben Zvi (in the section between Agripas and Ruppin Junction), Rabin Boulevard, Bezalel, Ben Yehuda, Shmuel HaNagid, Be’eri, King George, Agron, Hillel, Ben Sira, King David, David Remez (Traffic congestion is expected on connecting streets).
- From 08:30 to 13:00 (estimated) there may be traffic congestion on Jabotinsky, HaNasi, HaAri, Metudela and Saadia Gaon streets.
- Parking will be completely prohibited from midnight before the march (from Wednesday, 16.10.19 to Thursday 17.10.19 at 18:00, estimated) on the following streets: Ben Zvi Boulevard, Hillel, Ben Sira, King David, David Remez.
- People driving north on Emek Refa’im Street and Bethlehem Road must travel through the IDF Tunnel.
- For those coming to Jerusalem, turn onto Herzl/Begin Boulevard, entrance to the city is recommended via Route 9.
There will be changes to the public transportation routes during the march. No service will be provided on Keren HaYesod, King David, King George and A’liash streets, service will be provided on Agripas, HaNevi’im, King Solomon, Shivtei Israel and Yitshak Kariv streets.
Vehicles parking in violation of traffic regulations and in prohibited areas will be towed. The public is asked to use public transportation. For Egged information call *2800
Those arriving by private vehicle can park at Teddy Stadium or near the International Convention Center, from where shuttle services will be available to the starting points.
You can reach the Safra Square and Ammunition Hill starting points by light rail.
Shuttles back to Teddy Stadium from Sacher Park (Rupin Boulevard) will be available from 12:00 to 15:00.
Return shuttles will not be available from Sacher Park to the starting points.
Drivers are asked to obey police and parking attendant instructions along the route of the march.
