Extension of the opening hours of the Menora Parking Lot
For the summer holidays, the Municipality of Jerusalem will open the Menora parking lot in the city center 24 hours a day on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturday evenings.
As part of the municipality's initiative, promoted by Eden, the opening hours will be extended on the days indicated, from Wednesday July 21, 2021 until the end of August. Today, the car park operates until 1 p.m.
The Menora Parking Lot, is a modern urban car park located on Bezalel, St in the Gerard Bachar Complex. The parking lot, which opened about a year ago, contains around 415 parking spaces for the benefit of locals and visitors to the city and is close to the downtown entertainment and recreation centers, Mahane Yehuda Market. , downtown and Sacker Park. The parking fee is 14 sjekels per hour and a reduction is given to holders of a Jerusalem card (to learn more about the Jerusalem Card, click here). From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., the cost of parking is NIS 14, one time only.
It should be noted that this change will not cancel the arrangement of the parking lot for residents of the district, who benefit from free parking in the parking lot between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m.
