The Winning Companies Were Selected for the K Complex
The Jerusalem Municipality and the Israel Lands Authority (PMI) announced today (Sunday, June 14) that Amot Investments Ltd. and Allied Real Estate Ltd. will win the K complex - The first auction that was marketed as part of the project 'Entrance to the Jerusalem City ". The proposal amounts are NIS 180,180,180 million, excluding VAT and development expenses.
The K complex is located near the Yitzhak Navon train station - Tel-Aviv high-speed rail line. The complex has a valid plan that allows the construction of 2 towers,36 stories for each one. It is approved for commercial uses, employment, offices, hotels, and public uses, a total of 78,000 square meters.
The Israel Lands Authority and the Jerusalem Municipality, with Eden Company, are currently promoting a new plan for the city's entrance district, which will increase the rights and uses of the K complex, and the number of two story towers to 40 stories each, for commercial, employment, public and residential use of approximately 102,000 sq.m.
The entrance to the city is expected to be the new business center of Jerusalem and will include 20 towers of 18-40 floors, designated for employment, commercial, hotels, residential, public and cultural areas.
The K complex will be built in the heart of the new business center, near the transportation center, which will include the express train station, the central bus station, three light rail lines, a separation level on Sderot Shazar, and a public parking lot with approximately 1,300 parking spaces.
The public space in the project will be upgraded and inviting, and all the streets will be renovated and the project will be spread over 220 dunams.
The project will provide about 60,000 new jobs to the capital of Israel.
