Home Security for Senior Citizens in Jerusalem

The Jerusalem Municipality runs a free program for residents aged 70 and over to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, as well as fall prevention awareness - "Safe at Home".

The program staff member will visit the resident's home, introduce them to ancillary materials, advice, and community activities to encourage an active, independent and quality lifestyle.

In addition, professional advice and assistance will be provided for the installation of fall prevention systems, such as ramps in the shower and toilet, and non-slip mats, fire detectors, emergency lights. aid and various other accessories that will contribute to personal safety in the house.
