Jerusalem offers interest-free loans to small businesses
The Municipality of Jerusalem and the SparkIL organization are collaborating to assist the city's small businesses with interest-free loans of up to 90,000 shekels.
The Municipality of Jerusalem and the SparkIL organization are cooperating to assist the city's small businesses with interest-free loans of up to 90,000 shekels. We see great importance in assisting small businesses in order to promote the local economy and help businesses submit loan applications.
If you would like to apply for a loan, please provide the information requested below. If you are found to be eligible, we will contact you.
Please note: In order to be eligible for a loan, several criteria (which are also listed on the SparkIL website) must be met:
- The address of the business must be in Jerusalem
- The business must have an annual turnover of up to 2 million shekels (based on the previous 12 months, or according to the past year’s financial statements)
- New businesses (up to one year old) and loans of over 50,000 shekels require one guarantor who has worked at his or her place of work for at least one year, and has a net income of at least 5,000 shekels
- Borrowers must be over the age of 22
