The Jerusalem March

The annual event will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2022 - the 18th of Tishrei - during Hol Hamoed Sukkot

13.10 07:00 - 18:00 all over Jerusalem

The Jerusalem March has three parts: a morning walk; the main event at Sacher Park; and the parade in the streets of the city.

Morning walk

There are three routes to choose from:

Route A: 12 km, suitable for experienced walkers (participants can start anytime between 7:00 and 9:00):

Ammunition Hill (starting point) - Mount Scopus - Emek Zurim - Mount Zion - Guy Ben Hinnom - Yemin Moshe - Talbiya - Rehavia - Sacher Park

Route B: about 9 km, medium level of difficulty (participants can start anytime between 7:30 and 9:30): 

Mount Scopus (starting point) - Emek Zurim - Mount Zion - Guy Ben Hinnom - Yemin Moshe – Talbiya - Rehavia - Sacher Park

Route C: about 4 km, low level of difficulty (participants can start anytime between 8:00 and 10:00):

Safra Square (starting point) - Jaffa Gate - Mount Zion - Guy Ben Hinnom - Yemin Moshe – Talbiya - Rehavia - Sacher Park

 

Main event at Sacher Park 

The event (10:00 to 16:00) for march participants and residents of Jerusalem is suitable for the entire family.

It includes a performance by music group The Revivo Project, as well as ones by dance and singing groups; performances of gymnastics and acrobatics; performances for children; an entertainment area for children; workshops and more.

 

Festive parade 

Groups from Israel and the around the world, including marching bands, IDF soldiers, flag bearers, street artists, dance troupes and others will participate.

The participants will start gathering at 14:00 on Ben Zvi boulevard.

The parade is to start at 15:00 on Bezalel street, proceed down Hillel and King David streets, and end at the First Station entertainment complex.
