The 68th Jerusalem March will take place on Wednesday, October 4, during the intermediate days of Sukkot.

The annual Jerusalem March, an event for the entire family, is one of the biggest events in Israel during the intermediate days of the holiday, with tens of thousands of participants from Israel and abroad marching through the scenic city. It is a colorful and spectacular event that has become a tradition for decades, and an integral part of the city of Jerusalem. Thousands of people from Israel and dozens of countries all over the world come to Jerusalem especially for the march and other celebrations.

This year, the march has three parts: a morning walk with three routes to choose from; a celebration in Sacher Park; and the festive parade itself.

Celebration in Sacker Park

The festive event, which will be held from 10:00 to 16:00, will include performances, musical ensembles and artists that children love. Among the activities will be a children's complex with dance shows; an area with inflatables; circus shows; a drumming activity; children's shows; a magic show; a performance by the "Mayumana" troupe; singing and dancing groups; gymnastics and acrobatics shows; and more. The main performance will be by singer-songwriter Dudu Aharon.

Festive Parade

Thousands of people from Israel and around the world, including groups, marching bands, IDF soldiers, street artists, dance troupes and more, will march in the parade to bring joy to residents of the capital as well as visitors. The parade will start at 15:00 on Bezalel St., proceed down Hillel, Ben Sira, and King David streets, and end at the First Station entertainment complex. There will be a podium on King David St. for the mayor, members of the City Council, and other dignitaries. The parade will end around 17:30.
