Contact the municipal center at the touch of a button
The Jerusalem Municipality 106 Hotline , recently launched an innovative service application for residents, as part of the development of the service through digital means. The new app allows you to send inquiries to the center using a very short procedure and in just a few seconds.
In addition, the app identifies the location of the applicants and offers them the ability to submit inquiries at the click of a button on ten common topics, including – overflowing garbage bins, broken street lights, cleanliness of public parks, weeding, stray dogs, sweeping, carcass removal, fallen signs, pruning and fixing of holes in the road.
The 106 hotline handled about 350,000 inquiries last year, about 30,000 a month and 1,500 a day. The hotline has 40 representatives working shifts, most of them students.
The Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion: "One of the most important issues for me as Mayor is service to our residents. In the last year and a half we have invested a great deal in improving the quality of service and the app will contribute to this."
