Receipt of preliminary information from Municipality officials will help prevent delays in the issue of the sign license and also unnecessary expenditure. The procedure for obtaining preliminary information is as follows:
1. The business owner must contact the Jerusalem Municipality Signposting Department (by email or by visiting the offices of the Signposting Department) in order to receive preliminary information about adapting the business to the requirements of the law regarding signposting.
2. The business owner should have the following documents ready: a photograph of the exterior of the building in which the business is operated; a photograph of the business exterior; images depicting the intended signpost and its surroundings.
