Business Licensing

As part of the business licensing reform in the State of Israel, the Jerusalem Municipality hereby publishes a document that consolidates the required documents, requirements and conditions required of business owners to obtain or renew a business license – hereinafter: “the Authority Specification”

The Authority Specification is published in accordance with Amendment 34 to the Business Licensing Law, 1968, (hereinafter: the “Business Licensing Law”), and addresses all types of businesses as specified in the Business Licensing Order (Businesses Requiring Licensing), 2013 (hereinafter: the “Business Licensing Order”).

The information published as part of the components of the national business licensing reform, and in order to improve and facilitate as much as possible for business owners / entrepreneurs, while developing a supportive and positive business environment for business owners / entrepreneurs and providing the best service within the framework of the business licensing process.
