Irregular Use by Businesses

​According to the Planning and Building Law, in cases where the construction is irregular (if it does not conform to either UBP (Urban Building Plan) or the building permit), the business owner is required to file an application for irregular use in addition to an application for a business license.  Being granted an irregular use permit does not guarantee that a business license will also be granted.

​In the event that a request for a business license falls under the Planning and Building Law definition as not conforming to the UBP (Urban Building Plan) or the building permit, the business owner must submit an application for an irregular use permit, in addition to a business license application.

​An irregular use permit holder will submit an application to renew a permit set to expire at the end of the current year, and the application will be submitted six months before the permit's expiration date.
